Eclectic Take on Traditional Bar Fare to Transform Entertainment Concept’s Food Focus and Guests’ Food Experience
DENVER … September 26, 2018 … GameWorks, Inc., a full entertainment and dining experience millennials, teens and families with seven locations nationwide, announced today the unveiling of its eclectic, chef-driven restaurant concept, The Works Kitchen at GameWorks, at its Denver location in Stapleton.
The Works Kitchen at GameWorks was imagined and created by Chef Tony Leitera who brings a 20-year culinary career to his new role as corporate executive chef. Prior to joining GameWorks in January 2018, Leitera collaborated with Guy Fieri on operating and expanding his branded locations.
At The Works Kitchen at GameWorks Denver, guests can enjoy selections from a varied menu that takes a Modern American spin on bar classics while also featuring hearty specialties and healthy options. The upscale food offering incorporates a contemporary approach to traditional favorites across a large variety of appetizers, handhelds (specialty burgers and sandwiches), salads and desserts.
Menu creationsspan, among many others, The Works’ very own “Twists,” an array of Bavarian pretzels; hand-stretched artisanal pizzas; savory snacks, such as buffalo-fried cauliflower; spiced and seared yellow fin tuna sashimi; and, dry-rubbed wings. Handheld specialties include the signature Works burger, a grilled cheese-stuffed 1.5-pound double burger, complemented with Sam Adams BBQ sauce and the notable plant-basedImpossible™ Burger, a popular gourmet vegetarian option.
To top off the meal, there are several extraordinary, mouth-watering milkshakes, such as the Frozen Brunch, a vanilla milkshake which boasts bacon, a Belgium waffle and maple syrup; the Movie Theater, a chocolate milkshake complete with red-rope licorice, caramel popcorn, chocolate candy and whipped cream; or, the Unicorn, a rainbow sherbet milkshake with rock candy and cotton candy, topped with a sugar cone.
“The launch of The Works Kitchen at GameWorks is an exciting development for our entertainment brand. Chef Tony Leitera began his culinary career training at Wolfgang Puck restaurants. He went on to open Cafe Deco in the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Macau, China, which features cuisines from around the world. He also was a member of the corporate training and chef team at The Capital Grille Las Vegas before transitioning into the role of executive chef partner at The Capital Grille Indianapolis. Chef Leitera worked with the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil stadium before being was recruited back to his home town of Las Vegas to open Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen + Bar at the LINQ Hotel and Casino. Between 2014-2018, Leitera collaborated with Guy Fieri and his Knuckle Sandwich Culinary team to open other Guy Fieri branded locations.
